Terms of service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. Agreement
These Dock Terms of Service (these "Terms") are a binding agreement between GNTC Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware ("GNTC," "we," or "us"), and the person or organization that signs up for, subscribes to, or uses Dock ("you"). They govern your use of Dock, a workspace for presentations and documents with a built-in AI agent, including the dock.space website, the web application at app.dock.space and dock.gntc.com, the desktop and mobile apps, the command-line tool, the API and the MCP servers (together, the "Services").
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you accept these Terms for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it, and "you" includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
An organization that needs a negotiated agreement, single sign-on, organization billing or a data processing agreement can contact us about Dock Enterprise at dock@gntc.com.
2. Definitions
"Workspace" means a space in Dock that holds content, members and settings. "Member" means a person who has access to a Workspace. A Workspace "admin" is a Member who can manage its members, permissions and settings.
"Your Content" means the material you or other Members put into or create in the Services, including files, presentations, documents, sheets, databases, comments, recordings, prompts, and AI Output.
"AI Features" means the features of the Services that use artificial intelligence, such as generating or upgrading slides, AI edits, the agent, image editing and generation, and text recognition. "AI Output" means what an AI Feature returns.
"AI Credits" means the allowance that AI Features draw from, as set out for each plan on the Pricing Page.
"Pricing Page" means dock.space/pricing, which sets out the current plans, prices, AI Credits and limits, and is part of these Terms.
"Public Link" means a link that lets people outside a Workspace view a page or presentation and, for a document page whose link allows editing, lets signed-in people edit it.
3. The Services
Dock lets you create, import, edit, convert, present, export and share presentations and documents, alone or with others, and with AI Features and AI agents. We may update, change or replace parts of the Services. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you at least thirty (30) days in advance. The Free plan comes without any service level commitment; a paid plan has one only if the Pricing Page or a signed agreement says so.
The desktop app updates itself automatically. Features labeled "coming soon" or "beta" are not yet part of the Services or are provided as they are.
4. Accounts and Workspaces
You sign in to Dock with GNTC Login. Keep your account accurate and your sign-in, personal access tokens and agent authorizations confidential; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at dock@gntc.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and not barred from using the Services under applicable law.
Workspace admins decide who is a Member, what each Member can do, and whether Public Links are allowed. When you join a Workspace someone else administers, its admins can see and manage the content in it, and can change or remove your access. If you administer a Workspace, you are responsible for the people you invite and the access you grant them.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Services for your own business or personal purposes in line with these Terms. You must not, and must not let anyone else:
- use the Services in violation of any law or anyone's rights, including privacy, data protection, intellectual property, export control and sanctions laws;
- upload, create or share content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, deceptive or fraudulent, that sexualizes minors, or that contains malware;
- use the Services or AI Output for phishing, impersonation, spam, or to create non-consensual intimate imagery of real people;
- access accounts, Workspaces or content you have not been given access to, or try to get around access controls, Public Link settings, usage limits or AI Credit limits;
- overload, disrupt or probe the Services for vulnerabilities, or use them in a way that degrades them for others;
- reverse engineer the Services except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
- resell or sublicense the Services, or scrape them or use them to build or train a competing product; or
- share your account, or remove proprietary notices from the Services.
We may suspend or terminate access, or remove content, if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.
6. Your Content
You keep all rights in Your Content. You give GNTC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, display, convert and otherwise process Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Services, including sending it to the service providers described in the Privacy Policy and showing it to the people you share it with. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the rights and consents needed to put it into the Services and to have us process it under these Terms, including any personal data of others it contains. We do not pre-screen Your Content, but we may remove or disable access to content that we reasonably believe breaks these Terms or the law.
Keep your own copies of anything important. Dock lets you export presentations to PowerPoint, Keynote, PDF and other formats.
7. AI Features
AI Output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your purpose, and similar requests can produce similar output for other users. Review AI Output before you rely on it or share it. Do not use AI Output as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial or other high-stakes decisions. You are responsible for how you use AI Output.
AI Features are provided through third-party AI providers and through EntryDesk, another GNTC service, as described in the Privacy Policy. AI Features use AI Credits as shown on the Pricing Page.
8. Agents, connected services and other third parties
You can connect AI agents to Dock through the command-line tool, MCP servers, personal access tokens or OAuth, and you can let the desktop app run AI agents installed on your computer. An agent you connect acts with your account's access: you are responsible for what it does, and for reviewing the changes it makes or proposes.
You can connect third-party services such as Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive, S3-compatible storage, Quip and Slack. You are responsible for the permissions you grant them. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and GNTC is not responsible for them or for their availability.
9. Sharing and Public Links
You decide what you share. When you turn on a Public Link, anyone who has the link can view the content without signing in. A document page's link can also allow editing: only signed-in people can edit through it, either the Workspace's members or, if you choose, anyone signed in to Dock. Links to presentations and other files are view-only. Dock asks search engines not to index public pages. You are responsible for what you share and for any confidentiality, privacy or other obligations you owe to others. Workspace admins can limit or turn off Public Links.
10. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, email dock@gntc.com with: the work you claim is infringed; the content you claim infringes it, with its link; your contact details; and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized and that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We will remove or disable access to the content when the notice is substantially complete, tell the person who shared it, and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
11. Plans, fees and payment
Plans. The Pricing Page describes each plan, its price, its AI Credits and its limits. Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax unless the Pricing Page says otherwise. We may change or discontinue the Free plan with thirty (30) days' notice to its users.
Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance for each billing period through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. By adding a payment method you authorize us to charge it for your plan and applicable taxes.
AI Credits. AI Credits are not money, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and expire as the Pricing Page describes. When they run out, the AI Features that use them stop until more are available.
Price changes. We will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice before a price increase applies to your next billing period. If you do not agree, cancel before it takes effect.
Failed payments. If a payment fails and is not resolved within fifteen (15) days, we may suspend paid features until it is.
Refunds. Except where these Terms or the law say otherwise, fees are non-refundable. If we discontinue the Services, we will refund the unused part of a prepaid billing period.
Disputes. Tell us about a disputed charge within thirty (30) days of it.
12. Cancellation and termination
You can cancel a paid plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the current billing period. You can stop using the Services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and do not fix it within thirty (30) days of notice, or immediately if the breach cannot be fixed or creates a security, legal or abuse risk; if payment is overdue; or if we discontinue the Services, with at least ninety (90) days' notice.
When your access ends, your licenses end. Export what you need before then. We may then delete Your Content as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 5, 6, 7, 10, and 13 to 17 survive termination.
13. Warranties and disclaimers
Each party confirms it has the right to enter into these Terms. We will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS, THE SERVICES, AI FEATURES AND AI OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GNTC DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT CONTENT WILL NEVER BE LOST, OR THAT A CONVERTED OR EXPORTED FILE WILL LOOK THE SAME IN ANOTHER APPLICATION.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY IS LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS. EACH PARTY'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE FEES YOU PAID OR OWED GNTC IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100).
These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, your indemnity obligations, your breach of Section 5, either party's fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or liability that cannot be limited by law. GNTC is not liable for third-party services, agents or AI providers you choose to use with the Services. If consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded apply to you, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under them.
15. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify GNTC against third-party claims and resulting losses arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or what you share or let agents do through your account. GNTC will defend and indemnify you against third-party claims that the Services, excluding Your Content, AI Output and third-party services, infringe someone's intellectual property rights. The indemnified party must give prompt notice, let the other party control the defense, and cooperate reasonably.
16. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government action, war, labor disputes, or failures of the internet, cloud providers or other upstream providers. This does not excuse payment obligations.
17. General
Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. The Taipei District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve a dispute by negotiation for thirty (30) days.
Changes. We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least thirty (30) days' notice by email or in Dock. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not, stop using the Services and cancel your plan before then.
Notices. Send notices to GNTC at dock@gntc.com. We send notices to the email address of your account or in Dock.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Other terms. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Pricing Page are the entire agreement between you and GNTC about the Services. If a provision is unenforceable, it is changed to the minimum extent needed and the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of our assets. The parties are independent contractors.
